The design (read CAD) technologies which have the greatest need for acquiring the maturation that computer hardware is achieving are design accuracy and design size.

Minute 1,2,3: History of design accuracy from 1956 to 2008. Description of todays accuracy producing tools (hardware and software). Difference between common accuracy generation today and what potential exists for near term dramatic accuracy improvements.
Minute 4: Hardware is exploding in the size memory of all sorts available. Gigabytes, terabytes and petabytes are here. Sizes of design components, complete designs and families of designs should be able to take advantage of this phenomenal growth as it becomes available. A simple approach to this will be illustrated.
