Lester Craft's 'Brilliantly Dumb' Innovations

Lester Craft (Innovate Forum and an attendee at COFES) added a nice little thought about COFES in his online publication, Innovate Forum. In it he talks about the difference between 'just  dumb', and 'brilliantly dumb' innovations: the difference is, according to Craft, that some of the biggest innovations have been brilliantly dumb.

According to him Dick Morley agrees - which is nice cos Morley doesn't agree with many people. 'Dumb ideas' says Morley 'are sometimes the big ones.'

Lester goes on to decsribe ideas that could be brilliantly dumb. Amazon is one. The Computer Mouse.

I would like to add some more that are brilliantly dumb:

* I think Post-It Notes qualify.
* Bubble-wrap
* Bent tooth brush
* Glow-in-the dark condoms
* Velcro
* Bottled Water

please feel welcome to add more
