Please tell us your thoughts about COFES and how it can be improved! We created this event seven years ago to meet needs that the then-extant industry events did not - specifically, the need for communication at the highest levels among vendors, users, consultants, and press, in a non-sales environment.

There is always room for improvement - and who better to turn to for suggestions than you? Have at!

Joel,

My name is George Kamian and I work for Novellus Systems in San Jose CA. I work for Jim Doxey, who you may know through Brad and Steve Wolfe. I would like to suggest a topic for discussion which has to do with CAD driven BOM's. Our company is currently implementing PDMLink 8 and one of the features is "Active" relationships between CAD parts and Windchill parts. This leads to auto-creation of BOMs. There are many challenges with this notion and since I am an engineer, I have practial knowledge of these challenges - with potential solutions.
