Cloudways is a cloud hosting company that promises fast loading times for its customers. But just how fast is it? And how does it compare to other hosting providers?

This article will look at Cloudways’  speed test results and see how they compare to other hosts.

What is Cloudways hosting, and how does it work?

Cloudways is a cloud hosting company that provides a platform for users to launch their websites on the cloud. It offers a variety of features, including managed hosting, cloud hosting, and WordPress hosting.

Cloudways works by providing users with access to a range of different cloud providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and DigitalOcean. Users can then select the provider that best suits their needs, and Cloudways will take care of the rest.

Cloudways is a bit different from other hosting providers in that it doesn’t offer a traditional shared hosting plan. Instead, it offers a range of plans tailored to different needs. This can be a bit confusing for new users, but it gives them the flexibility to choose the best plan for them.

Cloudways is also well known for its fast loading times.  In fact, the company promises to outperform competitor hosting platforms.

How fast is Cloudways, really?

To find out how fast Cloudways is, we’ll take a look at its speed test results completed in July 2020 using loader.io.

When compared to Kinsta and WP Engine, Cloudways achieved the following benchmarks for website response time (1):

  • Average Response Time: 3439ms
  • Minimum Response Time: 1039ms
  • Maximum Response Time: 9296ms

This is an impressive result. According to these results, Cloudways is significantly faster than both Kinsta and WP Engine. In fact, its average response time was over 1000ms faster than Kinsta and over 3000ms faster than WP Engine.

Speed Tests

Cloudways also completed a series of speed tests in July 2020. These tests were also conducted using loader.io and measured the time it took for a website to load based on three different plan levels.

Agency Level

The Cloudways Agency level plan comes with 6TB of bandwidth and promises to load your website quickly for up to 6.7 million users each month.

Small Business

The Cloudways Small Business level plan also comes with 6TB of bandwidth and promises to load your website quickly for up to 1.67 million visitors.

Entry-Level

The Cloudways Entry-Level plan comes with 1TB of bandwidth and can support up to 840,000 visitors each month.

So, is Cloudways the best hosting provider?

Well, that depends on what you’re looking for. If you need a fast loading time and don’t mind paying a bit more for it, then Cloudways is definitely worth considering. It offers some of the best speeds in the industry, and its platform is easy to use.

However, if you’re on a tight budget or need more features than Cloudways offers, then you may want to consider another provider. There are a number of great hosts out there that offer a broader range of features at a lower price point.

In the end, it’s up to you to decide which provider is best for you. But if you’re looking for a fast loading time, Cloudways is definitely worth considering.
